The convenience of accessing and editing your Android device’s recent photos and screenshots directly on your PC’s Capture Tool is a great new feature that streamlines the integration between your phone and computer.

By following basic instructions in Settings > Bluetooth and devices > Mobile devices, you can link your Android phone to your PC to instantly receive notifications whenever a new photo or screenshot is taken. This feature eliminates the need for remote capture; simply click and transfer the photo to a desired folder or photo editing application.

Windows installation has been recently updated.

The Windows operating system Media configuration interface was updated with a more modern and streamlined look, but it does not impact the installation process.

The basic functions are still available in the bare operating system setup, ensuring alignment with the process for upgrading and setting up devices that are already using Windows OS.

Insiders interested in testing out this new setup can download the ISOs for Build 26040 and do a fresh installation on their PCs or Virtual Machines (VM).
