OnePlus Buds 3 were unveiled following the introduction of the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R smartphones. The company chose not to include “Pro” in the name of their latest TWS Bluetooth earbuds, stating that the Buds 3 will revolutionize the mid-range TWS headphone market.
What features does OnePlus Buds 3 provide?
The OnePlus Buds 3 offers strong bass, mid, and treble performance with its pair of dynamic drivers, as stated by the Chinese smartphone maker. The headset’s design was based on a study of 2,000 unique ear shapes.
Buds 3 offers support for the LHDC 5.0 Bluetooth audio codec, created by Savitech, which is widely used by various smartphone manufacturers such as Motorola, Nothing, oppo, realme, and Xiaomi.
Deactivation of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)
OnePlus states that Buds 3 can cancel out sounds up to 49dB, but does not specify the frequency ranges it is most effective at blocking. The TWS earphones also feature Adaptive ANC technology, which adjusts noise suppression levels based on the surrounding environment.
Battery duration
The OnePlus Buds 3 can last for up to 10 hours without ANC, but this drops to 6 hours and 30 minutes with active noise cancellation enabled.
The phone charging case does not have the capability to wirelessly charge your battery.
